Accessible camping & electrical hook-ups
Is there an accessible camping area?
Yes, we have a dedicated Accessible Campsite. It has a car park directly adjacent, so you can unload without a long walk. The campsite is vehicle-free beyond the unloading area.
Are electrical hook-ups available for medical equipment?
Yes. Electrical hook-ups are available in the Accessible Campsite, particularly for guests who need power for medical equipment such as breathing apparatus, hoists or specialist feeding apparatus.
To book:
- Purchase your accessible campsite tickets online and select the electrical hook-up option.
- You’ll receive an email with instructions on the next steps. Reply with details of why you need power, such as for breathing equipment.
- If you’ve already purchased tickets, email accessibility@bigchurchfestival.com for assistance.
Please be aware that power on site is supplied by generators. While we do everything possible to maintain a consistent supply, we cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted. Please plan accordingly, especially if you are bringing temperature-sensitive medications.
Can I bring oxygen cylinders?
Yes, this is possible, but it must be managed within the Accessible Campsite due to the highly flammable nature of oxygen. Please contact accessibility@bigchurchfestival.com in advance to make suitable arrangements.
