Big Church Kids programme

Our Big Church Kids Morning Programme is a highlight of the weekend for families, and for us! Here’s everything you need to know before you book.

What happens in the Kids Programme?

Each morning begins with a high-energy all-together session in the Kids Tent, led by our brilliant stage team. Children can expect worship, games, Bible stories, drama, teaching and small group discussion. Groups then head off for two exciting workshops from a rotating mix of craft, sports, games, singing, circus skills, drama and nature activities. Every morning wraps up back in the Kids Tent with a fun, faith-filled finale.

What tickets do I need?

To attend the Big Church Kids Morning Programme, your child will need all three of the following:

  • 1 x Children’s Event Ticket
  • 1 x Children’s Camping Ticket
  • 1 x Big Church Kids Morning Programme Ticket

What age is it for?

The Kids Programme is for primary-school-age children. For secondary-school-age young people, Year 7 upwards, see our Big Church Youth article.

SEND support

If your child has additional needs, we want to make sure they’re fully supported:

  • If your child has one-to-one support at school, they’ll need a designated adult with them throughout the programme.
  • Our Purple Bandana Brigade, our SEN team, are on hand to support children who may find the programme challenging.
  • A sensory area at the back of the Kids Tent is available for children who need a calmer space.

Safeguarding & pick-up

Every adult working with children holds a valid DBS check from Big Church Festival. Children are checked in and out each morning and will only be released to someone presenting the correct collection card with your child’s unique code. Screenshots are not accepted; originals only. Children will not be released to anyone under 18.

Please collect your child promptly at midday. If you’re running late, let a hosting team member know so the message can be passed on quickly. Your child will remain safely with the Kids Team until they’re collected.
