Campervans & caravans

Campervans, motorhomes and caravans are very welcome at Big Church Festival! Here’s everything you need to know.

Booking your pitch

  • Purchase a caravan pitch ticket through bigchurchfestival.com/tickets.
  • You also need a camping ticket for every person staying in the vehicle.
  • Electrical hook-ups are available for caravans and motorhomes only. These must be booked in advance through the website and are limited, so book early.
  • You’ll need at least 10m of 16amp cable to reach the nearest power source.
  • Hook-up power runs from Thursday 27 August at 12 noon to Monday 31 August at 12 noon.

Pitching next to friends

We’re unable to pre-allocate pitches. If you want to be near friends with a caravan, arrive at the same time and our team will do their best to park you close together. Please note that you’ll both need the same requirements, such as both electric or both non-electric. We can’t mix electric and non-electric pitches.

Can I attach an awning?

Yes, as long as your awning fits within your booked space.

Getting a hired caravan delivered to site

Yes, this is possible! Here’s how:

  1. Email caravans@bigchurchfestival.com with your order number so we can note the details and pass them to our caravan team.
  2. Hired caravans can be delivered from Wednesday 26 August, from 12 noon.
  3. Send the hire company your caravan e-ticket. It must be printed and displayed in the window.
  4. If you’ve booked an electrical hook-up, send that confirmation to the hire company too, so they know to site the van near a power source.
  5. The hire company must collect the caravan by 5pm on Tuesday 1 September.

Important campsite rules for campervans

  • Running vehicle engines while stationary is strictly prohibited, including for heating, cooling or charging.
  • You cannot sleep in a regular car or van. Only purpose-built campervans with proper ventilation are permitted.
  • Caravans and campervans cannot park next to tents in the main campsite. They must stay in the designated caravan field.
  • You’re free to visit friends in the main campsite on foot.
