Campsite arrival, layout & facilities

When can I arrive?

You’re welcome to arrive on any day: Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Exact gate opening times will be published on our Event Schedule page at bigchurchfestival.com closer to the event. Arriving earlier gives you a better pick of camping pitches, which are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and more time to settle in.

What facilities are available on the campsite?

Your camping ticket includes access to:

  • Hot showers
  • Toilets
  • Standpipes for filling water containers
  • Multi-tap units for washing up and teeth brushing

You’ll also find a Campsite Cafe for morning coffee and late-night snacks, a Corner Shop stocked with essentials, including an ice block exchange, and food traders open throughout the weekend.

Can I park next to my tent?

The campsite is vehicle-free, which helps us keep everyone on site safe. When you arrive, you’ll be directed to one of our designated car parks. From there, you’ll carry your gear to your pitch. Arriving earlier means a shorter walk!

Before heading to your pitch, stop by the camping ticket gate to collect your wristbands, pick up a programme and meet the team. Our campsite shop will stock anything you might have forgotten, such as tent pegs or airbeds.

Do I need to reserve a camping pitch?

Pitches are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and we don’t pre-assign specific spots. We have plenty of space, but if you’re coming with a large group, arriving together and early gives you the best chance of camping side by side. If your group is 100 or more people, email camping@bigchurchfestival.com in advance to discuss reserved pitch options.

How long can I camp for?

You can camp for one night or all four: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. All campers must leave the site by midday on Monday 31 August.
