Family camping & lost child procedure
Where can families camp?
Families are warmly welcome throughout the main campsite. It’s a friendly, community-spirited space and most of our campers are families just like yours. Pitches are first-come, first-served, so if you’d like to camp near others from your church or friendship group, arrive together and early.
Remember: every family member, including babies and under 4s, needs their own camping wristband.
What happens if my child gets lost?
We pray this never happens, but we do have clear procedures in place to keep every child safe.
During the Kids Morning Programme:
- Your child will remain with the Kids Team or Safeguarding Team until they’re safely collected.
- We’ll phone the on-site contact you provided at registration.
- If you’re out of signal, your child’s collection code will be displayed on café screens around the site.
- In a serious emergency, a senior Kids Team member and a senior Safeguarding Team member will stay with your child.
If a child goes missing elsewhere on site, please alert any member of our hosting team or visit the nearest information point immediately. Our team is equipped with radios to communicate quickly across the site.
