How to apply to volunteer

Applications for 2026 are open now, and we’d love to hear from you!

How to apply

1. Visit bigchurchfestival.com/get-involved/volunteer to explore the different teams and find your best fit.
2. Head to bigchurchfestival.paamapplication.co.uk/bigchurchfestival to submit your application.
3. You’ll need to provide card details, with no charge taken upfront, and two references.
4. Once your references respond and your card details are in place, your application will be processed.

Who can apply?

• You need to be at least 16 years old. If you’re 16 or 17, we’ll need a completed parental consent form. We’ll contact you about this after your application.
• There’s no upper age limit. Everyone is welcome!
• You can apply from outside the UK if you have the right to volunteer here, such as UK or Irish citizenship, EU Settled or Pre-Settled Status, or a valid Working Holiday Visa.
• We’re unable to support volunteer visas or provide invitation letters for visa applications.

Roles fill up fast!

Roles are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t leave it too long. We’ll do our best to match you to your preferred team.

What happens after you apply?

We aim to process applications as quickly as possible once we’ve received your card details and both references. You’ll be allocated to a team and notified by email. Some roles require a DBS check, which will be processed in spring 2026.
