Tent rules, sizes & community tents
What size tent can I bring?
Great news, there are no restrictions on tent sizes in the main campsite. Bring whatever you need to be comfortable!
Can I bring a community or kitchen tent?
Yes! Groups are welcome to bring a shared structure, such as a community or kitchen tent, as long as it’s no larger than 3m x 3m. It must be:
- Securely fixed to the ground using rope, pegs and weights.
- Collapsed in the event of high winds.
- Compliant with any guidance from our H&S or campsite team.
For structures larger than 3m x 3m, such as a hired marquee, please contact camping@bigchurchfestival.com in advance to discuss.
Can I bring a TentBox?
Yes, TentBoxes are welcome, but a few rules apply:
- If the TentBox remains attached to a vehicle, you must have purchased a caravan/campervan ticket. TentBoxes on vehicles are not permitted in the general campsite.
- Every person staying in a TentBox also needs a camping ticket.
- Running vehicle engines while stationary is not permitted.
Is there a quiet camping area?
We know that a peaceful night’s sleep can make a real difference to your weekend, especially for families with young children or those who need an earlier night. Our campsite team will be on hand when you arrive to help you find a spot that suits you. For any specific requirements, feel free to reach out in advance at info@bigchurchfestival.com.
